Repair teams already have estimating tools, payer requirements, and established shop processes. Estimate Intelligence should fit into that reality. The starting question is which source can enter the review and how the approved result will move forward.
Begin with the source you actually use
Storm supports PDF exports from MTRX / Mobile Tech RX, CCC ONE, Mitchell, and Audatex, plus configured CCC EMS connections. Confirm the source and export format before the trial. This is more useful than a generic list of software logos.
Another estimating tool may produce a usable file, but compatibility should be confirmed before it is promised.
Turn the document into reviewable context
Parsing and terminology translation bring supported estimate content into the review workflow. Available OEM procedure references and configured payer or shop rules provide context for potential gaps. Source quality still matters; a partial or unclear document can require clarification.
The goal is a reviewable working revision, with rationale beside the items the estimator needs to inspect.
Keep the approval boundary explicit
Suggested additions can land in a new working revision. The estimator keeps, edits, or dismisses them before approved release or export. A suggestion is neither a reimbursement guarantee nor a substitute for the shop’s repair judgment.
The useful question is whether the reviewer can understand the finding and decide what belongs.
Use the right return path
A configured CCC EMS exchange can support the round trip into the shop’s CCC workflow. PDF ingestion from another tool does not imply native write-back into that tool. Agree the final handoff and the system of record as part of setup.
Be precise about imports, exports, and native integrations. They serve different purposes.
Evaluate the review in the shop
Use actual supported estimates to assess parse quality, rationale, reviewer effort, and useful findings. Include supplements and incomplete source material in the evaluation. Track quality and workflow effort before making a financial outcome claim.
Start with the five-run trial, then choose the workflow scope that fits your shop.
A useful next step
Bring a supported estimate and your existing review process. We can show where Storm fits without promising an unsupported integration.
